Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam is held twice every year in the month of June and December. It is the entry level course and is same as Entrance Exams of Other Professional Organizations. Eligibility: A student should have cleared for Class XII Exams. Application Fees: The CPT Registration Fees to be submitted along with the Application Form is as follows:- Particulars Amount Cost of Application Form Rs. 100 CPT Registration Fee Rs. 6000 Subscription for Students Journal (Optional but strongly recommended) Rs. 200 Subscription for Members Journal (Optional) Rs. 400 Important Dates for CA CPT June, 2014 Examination: i) Commencement of Online filling of CPT Exam Form: 4th April, 2014 (10.00 hrs.) ii) Last date for acceptance of application forms: 25th April, 2014 (17.30 hrs) iii) Date of declaration of result: Around one month from the date of examination Thus, you have to create your account on or before 25th April, 2014 upto 5.30 P.M. (IST) for filling of CPT Examination application form Online.

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is conducted by the Council of the Institute Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). CA CPT Paper Pencil mode exam are held twice in each year in the moth of June and December. Tentative dates: CPT application form submission: First week of April to End of April CPT exam date: End of June Fees: Cost of examination application Form For an examination center within India - Rs. 100 For overseas examination center - $10 Examination Fee (including application form) For an examination center within India - Rs. 600 For Kathmandu centre - Rs.950 For other overseas examination centers - $160 Eligibility: Candidate must be passed in 10+2 from recognized board Validity for CPT registration is 3 years, after which revalidation can be made.
