Minimum Percentage in 10th for IIT JEE

What is the minimum percentage required in 10th class to appear in IIT JEE Examination???

There are no such minimum percentage criteria in JEE exam for 10th. They require a minimum percentage criterion in 12th concerned not in 10th class.

IIT JEE Eligibility Criteria

- You must have passed Class XII examination or other qualifying
examination OR appearing for their Class XII examination with minimum of
50% marks in total including all subjects

- You must have studied at least five subjects in their Class XII or other
qualifying exam.

- You must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects

- You must have studied any one of the subjects as optional subjects
(Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology)



List of Qualifying Exams that are considered for JEE Main:

-The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized
central/ state Board

- Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.

-Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at
least 3 year duration.

-Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign
country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of
Indian Universities (AIU).

-General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri
Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. [Only for Admission to IITs]

-Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a
recognized Board/ University.

-Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the
National Defence Academy.

- H.S.C. vocational examination.

- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National

-High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate
Office, Geneva. [Only for Admission to IITs]
