M.Tech. Bio-medical Engineering or Master of Technology in Bio-medical Engineering is a two years degree. Subjects studied under this degree are Applied Mathematics for Electronics Engineers, Biomedical Sensors & Instrumentation Anatomy and Physiology, Bio Mechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering.

ADMISSION:
B.E/B.Tech course degree with minimum 50% marks.
Entrance exam for Admission in M.Tech Bio-medical Engineering is through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) .

Admission Procedure for M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering

Admission procedure for M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering varies with college/ University.

As a general procedure for attaining admission for M.Tech course, candidates must qualify GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).

Majority of the reputed engineering colleges such as IITs, and NITs offer admissions on the basis of the GATE score.

There are some colleges which select candidates for M.Tech courses even without GATE score card. For instance, VIT University take up students for M.Tech course without GATE score.

A separate entrance exam, VITMEE (VIT Masters Entrance Exam) is organized by this university for granting M.Tech admissions.

S.R.M University also offers admissions for candidates who have qualified GATE or SRMEE.
