Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) conducts entrance exam for Admission to M.B.B.S course of JIPMER Puducherry Institutions.

Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam:

- You should have completed 17 yrs at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December
- You should have passed/appeared Class 12th Board Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 50 % marks.

Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Entrance exam is national level exam for admission in Medical colleges. The Exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research.

The age of the candidate should be 17 years at the time of the admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2015.

Here, I am giving you detail about the exam.

Education:

Candidate need to pass Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination in 10+ 2 pattern with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Biotechnology and English with 50% for unreserved and 40% for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes and 40% for OPH categories candidates.
Candidate who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination in March / April 2015 and those results have not yet been declared May also apply for JIPMER MBBS 2015 entrance exam.

Application procedure:

The JIPMER exam form can be fill online, no other mode is accepted. The application form will be avail form March 02, 2015 at the official website of the JIPMER. The last date for JIPMER exam online application form is May 4, 2015.

Application Fee:
1000 for General/OBC Category.
880 for SC/ST candidates

Exam pattern:

The exam contains 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Logic & Quantitative Reasoning, English and Comprehension.

Chemistry 60 questions
Biology (Zoology a& Botany) 60 questions
English and Comprehension 20 questions
Total 200 questions

Exam Duration: 02 Hours & 30 Minutes
