Guys, can you tell me the IAS officer Total average package offered???? The IAS (Indian Administrative Services) which is marked as a category 'A' government service is a highly special and a respected government service. Salary of an IAS Officer After 6th Pay Commission Norm Junior Scale- Grade Pay INR 5400 plus pay band of INR 15600- 39100 Senior Time Scale- Pay Band INR 15600-39100 with INR 6600 as grade pay. Junior Administrative Grade- Pay band INR 15600-39100 along with INR 7600 Grade Pay. Selection Grade Officer is entitled to a Grade Pay of INR 8700 plus pay band of INR 37400- 67,000 Super Time Scale- Pay Band of INR 37400- 67,000 plus INR 10,000 as Grade Pay There are three pay bands beyond the Super Time Scale. These pay bands are listed below:- INR 37400- 67000 with INR 12,000 as Grade Pay Pay scale 80000 (fixed) Cabinet Secretary Grade of 90000 (it is fixed). The Cabinet Secretary is supposed to draw the highest salary among IAS officials. Indian Administrative Services is one of the most prestigious jobs in India. The IAS is promoted to total four pay scales according to service seniority. The pay scale is as following: Junior Scale- Grade Pay INR 5400 plus pay band of INR 15600- 39100 Senior Time Scale- Pay Band INR 15600-39100 with INR 6600 as grade pay. Junior Administrative Grade- Pay band INR 15600-39100 along with INR 7600 Grade Pay.
