Delhi University Pre-Medical Test (DPMT) or University of Delhi Medical/Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) is an all-India entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by several medical colleges that are affiliated to the University of Delhi. ST student from outside Delhi are not eligible to appear for Delhi PMT, as Individuals who are permanent residents of Delhi only can appear for this examination. Basic Eligibility for DUMET -You must have a pass in class 12 with a strong background in the science discipline. -You must have also learned English language as one of their topics. -The schools in which you have finished your education must be located within the national territory of Delhi. - You must have scored above 50% marks (40% marks for children of the reserved categories). - Your age must not be below 17 years of age. -Individuals who are permanent residents of Delhi can submit the admission form for this examination. -Aspirants of other states are not permitted.

Yes outside Delhi ST Students can appear for Delhi PMT or DUMET. DUMET (Delhi University Medical/Dental Entrance Test) is carried out by the University of Delhi - Faculty of Medical Sciences, for the admittance of students into the MBBS and BDS programs offered at the University. The MBBS course is offered mainly in four following colleges that have an affiliation to the University of Delhi: • Lady Harding Medical College • University College of Medical Sciences • Maulana Azad Medical College • Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital BDS course is also offered in the following: Maulana Azad Medical College Eligibility for DUMET: Candidates must have a pass in class 12 with a strong background in the science discipline. They must have English language as one of their topics and candidates must have scored above 50% marks (40% marks for children of the reserved categories). Reservation of seats for DUMET Exam: Out of the total number of vacancies, 373 seats will be set apart for MBBS/BDS students. MBBS – LHMC will have 98 seats UCMS will have 128 seats MAMC will have 147 seats BDS - 34 seats will be set aside for MAIDS. The Directorate General of Health Services will select candidates for 15% seats. (MBBS/BDS) MBBS – MAMC will have 27 seats LHMC will have 22 seats UCMS will have 22 seats BDS - 6 seats will be set aside for MAIDS. Seats that are to be filled by the nominees of the Government of India: MBBS – LHMC will have 30 seats and MAMC will have 6 seats. BDS – No seats. Age Limit for DUMET: Students who are appearing for this exam must not be below 17 years of age.
