The Indian Space Research Organization is the primary space agency of India. ISRO is amongst the largest government space agencies in the world. Its primary objective is to advance space technology and use its applications for national benefit. INSAT (Indian National Satellite System) is a series of multipurpose geostationary satellites launched by ISRO to satisfy the telecommunications, broadcasting, meteorology and search-and-rescue needs of India. Commissioned in 1983.

B.Tech Course ISRO:

I want to inform you that ISRO does not conduct any B. Tech courses but one of its study center named as IIST conducts B.Tech courses. The departments offered by IIST are as follows:

Aerospace Engineering
Avionics
Chemistry
Earth & Space Sciences
Humanities
Mathematics
Physics

As you want to know about B.Tech Course ISRO, ISRO doesn’t conduct any B.Tech course.

One of them ISRO study center IIST conducts B.Tech course.

So here I am giving you information about it:

IIST is Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

It offers B.Tech courses in 3 streams:

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in
Aerospace Engineering

Avionics Engineering

Physical sciences

Eligibility:
Candidates must have 10+2 passed certificate or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

SC/ST/PD candidates must have minimum 60% marks.

IIST conducts ISAT entrance exam for giving admission in B.Tech.

Selection Procedure:
General Candidates:
Minimum of 20% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 5% marks in each of the three subjects of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.

Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) Candidates:
Minimum of 18% marks in aggregate and 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.

SC/ST/PD Candidates:
Minimum of 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).
