RAS Officer Eligibility Criteria

Will you please provide me eligibility criteria for RAS examination organizes by RPSC ??

Rajasthan Administrative Services exam is conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).

Educational Qualification:
The applicant should Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University

Age Limit
Minimum 25 years; Maximum 45 years

Application Fee:
Application fee for unreserved category candidates is Rs 250.
For Rajasthan domicile candidates, fee for OBC category (creamy layer) candidates in Rs 150, and fee for SC/ ST candidates is Rs 50.

The candidates can pay their examination fees only through CSC.
Additional Rs 40 will be charged for online application submission kiosk.

Selection Procedure:
The Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) selection is based on Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.

Paper pattern:
The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper on the subject specified below, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks.

Paper I:-

Subject - General Knowledge and General Science

Max Marks - 200

Time - 3 Hours

There will be 150 questions of multiple choice (Objective Type), carrying equal marks.

There will be negative marking. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

RAS examination is conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission .. here I am giving you information about RAS examination below :

Eligibility criteria-
You have to pass A graduate degree of any of the recognized Universities.
Nationality- Indian.
Age limit : 21 to 30 years

Examination Scheme-
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:-
i)Priliminary examination(objective type) for the selection of candidate from main exam
ii)Main examination(written examination)
iii)Literature from one of the following subjects..
-English
-Hindi
-Sanskrut
-Urdu
