CSTE Exam Details and Syllabus

What is CSTE Examination? Give details about the same? Also provide the study material?

Certified Software Tester or CSTE is a highly recognized certification mainly suited for experience and who is serious about their testing careers. The certification is provided by USA based QAI Global Institute. In India, QAI India being the international division of QAI Global Institute – USA, provides the "CSTE" Certification.

Examination Details:

The Exam consists of Four-Parts:

Part 1- 50 Multiple Choice Objective Questions
Part 2- Short Answer/Essay (10 Subjective questions)
Part 3- 50 Multiple Choice Objective Questions
Part 4- Short Answer/Essay (10 Subjective questions)

Duration: 4 hours. Time allowed for finishing the test: 75 Minutes.
Passing Score: Minimum 75% (average score of all four parts)
The exams are online as well as paper-based depending upon the choice of location of examination center. Exams are scheduled quarterly.

Eligibility:
4 years degree from reputed college + 2 years of IT experience
3 years degree + 3 years IT experience
2 years degree + 4 years IT experience
6 years IT experience
Should worked in IT field for the last 18 months
