Hello, Irvine Unified School District is a school district located in Orange County, California. It established on June 6, 1972, Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) serves approximately 28,000 K-12 students at
22 elementary schools,
five middle schools,
four comprehensive high schools and
one continuation high school.

Classes in both instrumental and vocal music are offered at each of its middle schools. Instrumental classes include both string orchestras and bands.
Classes at each school provide experiences ranging from programs designed for students who have not previously played an instrument, to the students who are in advanced level of instrumental music.
