From which date I can get the Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test application form & also give more info?

The Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is the exam which is organized by Anna University to provide admission in MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.E, M.Plan & M.Arch courses in Anna University & its associated colleges.

Application form
Registration of Application forms usually stars in the month of February of the year.

The exam is held in the month of April each year.

Application form will be issued in many centres across Tamil Nadu.

The filled applications must reach the Anna University on or before the last date prescribed in the application form.

While submitting the filled applications make sure that you have attached all the necessary documents that are requested in the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

1. For MCA:
Applicants must have obtained a Bachelors Degree with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST).

The applicants must have studied Mathematics as the main subject in their qualify degree

2. For MBA:
Applicants must be a Bachelor in any stream with 50% marks

3. For M. Tech:
Applicants must be having a Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Technology in the concerned discipline for which application has been made.

This includes the following main disciplines: Information Technology, Tele Communications, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science or Software Engineering respectively.

4. For M. Plan:

Bachelor of Planning, Bachelor of Archeology, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Master of Science or Master of Arts.

5. For M. Arch:
Bachelor of Archeology from any AIIA recognized degree colleges/ universities.
