Here is the Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant exam syllabus:

There are two exams that follow a syllabus given below.

Selection is done via a Written Test comprising of two papers

Paper I:
Paper I is Objective type containing questions on

1. General awareness
2. General knowledge
3. English language
4. Reasoning
5. Mathematical aptitude

Paper II:
Paper II us Descriptive type consisting of:
a. Essay
b. Precis writing

Interview:
The Candidates who secure a minimum number of marks in the written test are called for an interview at the Regional Centres.

The IB Security Assistant Exam is conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs. You are asking for the IB Security Assistant Exam Syllabus. Here I am providing you the IB Security Assistant Exam Syllabus. This is as follows:

General Awareness & Current Affairs

In this section basically the questions will be asked related to daily happening in our environment, international & national events, sports, politics, history, culture, Indian economy, society, Bollywood, science, research etc. basically you need to have strong grip over the Current Affairs and General Awarenes

Section B: Quantitative Ability and Arithmetic

In this part the questions will be containing problems from mathematics- this section will be on 10th /High School mathematics standard in that Algebra, Geometry and Math related questions will require solving.

Section C: General English

Up to 10th level English Grammar, Sentence Making & Comprehension related problems will be there.


Section D: Reasoning

Verbal & non Verbal Reasoning, mental Ability and General Intelligence related will be asked in this section.
