Indian Engineering Service examination is a reputed entrance examination for recruitment in various engineering posts organized by Union public service commission .. Here I am giving you eligibility criteria for IES Examination of UPSC.. IES exam eligibility : To participate in the IES examination you have to passed any undergraduate in Engineering from a well recognized University with good marks .. or you have to passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) Nationality: A candidate must be either: A citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan age limit : minimum age : 21 year maximum age : 30 year exam pattern : The written examination will comprise two sections: Section I - objective types questions Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers. IES conducted by UPSC. B.E. Computer science engineering students can apply for indian engineering services examination . They have to choose any one stream from the following steams : Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Eligibility Criteria: age limit- General- 21 to 30 years OBC- 21 to 33 years SC/ST- 21 to 35 years PD- 21 to 40 years Qualification: Candidate should have degree in engineering from university recognized by UGC.
