BE Computer Science Eligibility for IES Exam

Can I participate in the IES exam after passing the BE Computer Science course from reputed college ??

Indian Engineering Service examination is a reputed entrance examination for recruitment in various engineering posts organized by Union public service commission ..
Here I am giving you eligibility criteria for IES Examination of UPSC..

IES exam eligibility :
To participate in the IES examination you have to passed any undergraduate
in Engineering from a well recognized University with good marks ..

or
you have to passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India)

Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan

age limit :
minimum age : 21 year
maximum age : 30 year

exam pattern :
The written examination will comprise two sections:
Section I - objective types questions
Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers.

Paper I 2 hours 200
Paper II 2 hours 200
Section II – Conventional Paper
Paper I 3 hours 200
Paper II 3 hours 200

One Engineering Discipline should be chosen from the following categories:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

IES conducted by UPSC. B.E. Computer science engineering students can apply for indian engineering services examination .

They have to choose any one stream from the following steams :
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria:
age limit-
General- 21 to 30 years
OBC- 21 to 33 years
SC/ST- 21 to 35 years
PD- 21 to 40 years

Qualification:

Candidate should have degree in engineering from university recognized by UGC.

Physical standards:

Must be physically and mentally fit.

Paper :
Paper I-General Studies
Paper II and III-Objective type stream papers
Paper IV and V-Conventional type stream papers.
