I want to appear in Deputy Suprintendent of police (DSP) Exam of Tamil Nadu so please tell me when TNPSC held the exam for the post of DSP??

TNPSC conducts Combined Subordinate Services Examination I (CSSE-I) for direct recruitment in a number of services under Tamil Nadu Government.

Group-I Exam is conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Services commission (TNPSC) for the Group 1 Posts which includes:

DC (Deputy Collectors), Later Conferred IAS.
DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police), Later Conferred IPS
CTO (Commercial Tax Officers).
DR (District Registrar in Co-operative Societies).
DR (Deputy Registrar in Registration Dept) Etc,
District Employment Officer.
Divisional Fire Officer
Assistant Director of Rural Development Dept

TNPSC group 1 consists of:

Preliminary Examination and
Main Examination

As you are looking for exam schedule of TNPSC for the post of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) but exam schedule for this session has not announced. Generally Preliminary Examination is held in the month of September and Main Examination is held in the month of November every year.

Minimum Qualification & Age Criteria:
-Your Age should be below 35 years for SCs, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes.
-And for others, Age should be below 30 years
-Age relaxation upto 5 years is available for persons those who are affected by the ban order as per the orders of the Government.
- You must hold a first class Degree of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its Grants (and)

Main written Examination / Written Examination cum-oral Test

Subordinate services Rs.75
Preliminary Examination (Group I Services) Rs.50

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts examination for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Technical) in the Tamil Nadu General Service.

Right now TNPSC does not annouanced DSP exam dates, so when will announce then I’ll provide that.

Other details I am giving here:

Eligibility
Age should be below 35 years for SCs, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes

Age should be below 30 years for others

Age relaxation upto 5 years is available for persons those who are affected by the ban order as per the orders of the Government.

Educational Qualification
A first class Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission

Must have had continuous experience for a period of not less than 3 years in Receiver Servicing field (installing, maintaining and repairing Radio receivers) in any well known firm or institution

Written Test

Written Test will be a single paper
Electronics and Communication Engineering (Degree Standard) - 300 marks
Interview and Record - 40 marks

Minimum qualifying marks for Selection
SCs, SC(A)s,STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs(Other than BCMs), BCMs –
102 marks

Others –
136 marks

Applications:

Application can be obtained from the Post Offices on payment of Rs.30/- and Examination fees is Rs.125/-
