Default Re: Is Minimum of 60 Semester or 90 Quarter Units required for UC admission

as you are asking about the basic eligibility criteria in University of California le me tell you that if you want to take admission in the University as a junior then you need to score at least or you need to complete 60 semester (90 quarter) units of transferable college credit

and for that the minimum score that you need to score in GPA is at least 2.4 (2.8 if you're a nonresident). No more than 14 semester (21 quarter) units may be taken Pass/Not Pass.

Second thing which you need to keep in mind is that you need to complete these following courses for admission in University

Two transferable college courses (3 semester or 4-5 quarter units each) in English composition

One transferable college course (3 semester or 4-5 quarter units) in mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning;

Four transferable college courses (3 semester or 4-5 quarter units each) chosen from at least two of the following subject areas:

arts and humanities

social and behavioral sciences

physical and biological sciences

the last thing that I want to suggest you is that it is not important that you fulfill the basic requirements which are been demanded by the university to you the main thing and the admission is totally depend upon the college committee for admission because many colleges are like those who receive more applications then they expect and in that condition you should be well prepare for the interview and for the admission test to make a mark in the university
