Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) is AP State Level Common Entrance Test for admission into PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy / M.Arch ) Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have passed or appeared for the final year of B.E./ B.Tech./ AMIE/ B.Pharmacy/ B. Arch./ B. Planning or equivalent examination for seeking admission into relevant PG courses and its Specializations. Tentative dates: Issue of Notification: last week of February, 2014 Commencement of Application Form: first week of march 2014 Last Date for submission of online applications Without late fee:mid of April,2014 With a late fee of Rs 500 last week of april,2014 With a late fee of Rs 2000 first week of may,2014 Downloading of Hall Tickets : third week of may,2014 Examination Dates: last week of may,2014 Fee structure: Registration fee is Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- in case of SC/ST). Exam Pattern: The question paper will be in English Duration of Test is two hours Total number of questions: 120 Type of Questions: Multiple choice objective Marks per question: One No Negative Marking Candidates have to score at least 25% to qualify (No minimum marks for SC/ST)

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is AP State Level Common Entrance Test for admission into regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, (ME / M.Tech) courses conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. Subjects available for M.Tech erospace Engineering Bio – Technology Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering Computer Science & Information Technology Electronics & Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering) Instrumentation Engineering Food Technology Geo Engineering & Geo Informatics Mechanical Engineering Metallurgy Pharmacy Nano Tecnology PGECET Eligibility Criteria • The applicant must be Indian Nationality. • The applicant should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. • The applicant should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission • The applicant must graduate with 50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category). Exam Pattern: The question paper will be in English language. The duration of paper is two hours. All questions will be Objective type with multiple choice answers One mark will be awarded for each correct answer and total marks will be 120.
