Paper : Techmahindra Online Test Paper Pattern



This is an online techmahindra test. It contains five sections. There are 75 Questions and the time allowed is 1 hour.

There is no negative marking. So attempt all the questions.

Part I - Verbal Reasoning:

The questions are from reasoning topics like:
Percantage Profit and loss Time and Work Problems on Ages Problems on Numbers


Part II - Non-verbal Reasoning (Numeric & alphabetatical series questions, Venn Diagram, Time & Direction Q., )

A) 12:10

Part III - Fill in the Blanks (It contains tenses, form of verb & preposition)

Part IV - Multiple Choice Question (It contains vocabulary, errors)

Part V- Reading Comprehension (A comprehension is given with blanks)

There is sectional cutoff. Attempt all questions and do attend the ppt - paper presentation carefully.

The written exam conducted by Tech Mahindra for selection is moderate to difficult. The exam has around 75 questions from English Language, English Language Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning sections with a time allotment of 50 minutes in total.

In the English section (around 35 questions), the students will have to solve reading comprehensions. This section also consists of basic grammar usage questions like fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc.


The Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning section (around 29 questions) will test the candidate on data interpretation and logical reasoning skills. The questions will also be based on puzzles, blood relations, statements & arguments, coding decoding, data sufficiency, pattern recognition, deductive logic, statement-assumption etc. Quantitative Ability (around 11 questions) section consists of questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time, speed & distance, arithmetic, percentages, profit & loss, geometry, etc.


After the written exam, there is another round of Story writing for the duration of 15 minutes. A scenario is given in which a candidate has to write a story based on a provided picture. The word limit is nearly 200 words. There is no negative marking in the paper.
