Jadavpur University is a premier public state university, established in the year 1955. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted by the West Bengal Board of Examination for admission in Engineering/Technology courses at Jadavpur University, Calcutta

Domicile West Bengal residents
You should have been residing in the State continuously for 10 years or your parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.

Eligibility
-Your Maximum Age must be 21 yrs (24 yrs for SC/ST candidates).
-There is no age limit for admission to Jadavpur University.
- You should have studied 12 yrs Hr Sec exam in General/Vocational stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent with Eng, Phy, Chem, Maths and Vernacular/5th subject.
- You should be physically fit, as per prescribed standard.

I want to get admission in graduation engineering course in Jadavpur University so for this I must have Domicile certificate?

Jadavpur University or JU is a premier Public research oriented university located in Kolkata, West Bengal. It was established in 1955. The University is approved by UGC.

JU engineering admission-

Candidates must have been residing in the State of West Bengal continuously at least for last 10 (ten) years or their parents must be permanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home address in the State of West Bengal.

No, Domicile certificate is not required.

Admissions are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-MAIN) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria B. Tech:

Both JEE and JEE-MAIN merit listed candidates shall have to adhere to the cut-off marks in qualifying examination (10+2) i.e., at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for reserved category) and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates) with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject).
