Indian Army Qualifications required

Guys, can you tell me the basic qualification that is needed to become Indian Army officer???

To apply in the Indian Army you must have completed 12th at least. After that you need to crack National Defence Academy examination which is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year. This examination is being conducted in following three wings:

Indian Air Force
Indian Navy
Indian Army

The eligibility criteria are as following:
The applicant must have completed 12th standard with science. Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old. The candidate should be unmarried and the Indian citizen……..

Physical requirements:
Better eye is 6/6 and worst eye is 6/9 with or without glass
Running :- 2.4 Km in 15 minutes
Push ups :- 13 nos
Sits ups :- 25 nos
Chin ups :- 6 nos
Rope - Climbing :- 3-4 meters.



You can also apply for the Combined Defence Service after completing your graduation. The age limit for the CDS examination is as following:

Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years
Indian naval Academy - 19 to 22 years
Indian Air Force Academy - 19 to 23 years
Indian Officer's Training Academy - 19 to 25 years

Hai sir compleat the 10th standard 80% results will be comming my date of birth is 1996 march 17 iam joing the school late sir my cast is (st)means (arukala) iam so intrasting the indian army please iall so joining sir my hight is 5feet above cheast is 95 cm arms is 30cm thank you sir
