The National eligibility test is the national level entrance examination in India for postgraduate candidates who wish to qualify for university level teaching jobs in India. Following are the details of this test: Dates: In the year 2013, the forms were available on 09.11.2013 so in the year 2014 most probably the form will be available in the month of November. Eligibility: The applicant must have 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

First of all I clear you that from 2014, On behalf of UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education conduct NET/SET exam. For December 2014 exam, dates has already gone, for June 2015, you can take part in Exam, here are tentative dates according to last year: Date of Start of On-Line Submission: Last Week of July 2015 Here are NET SET exam details: Eligibility criteria: The Applicants should have Master Degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University to apply for this selection process. Age limits: Applicants must hold the age limits of 28 years for this recruitment. The age relaxation as per government rules will be applicable. Selection Procedure: Applicants will select on the basis of the written test and then Merit list.
