Can you give me information about the CDS examination for joining air force ??

To join Air Force you have to appear in the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) which is conducted by UPSC

Eligibility for join Air Force through CDS
Candidate must be a Citizen of India

Candidate must have passed Degree from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering course

Age limit:
20 to 24 years

Exam Pattern:
Subject Marks
English 100
General Knowledge 100
Elementary Mathematics 100
Total 300

Tentative Schedule: (Examination held twice a year)
(i) Notification of Examination August and March
(ii) Conduct of Examination February and August

(B) Age-limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

Exam pattern :
English (Objective type) 100 Marks
General Knowledge
(Objective type) 100 Marks
Elementary Mathematics (Objective type) 100 Marks
Total 300 Marks
