Please provide me eligibility criteria for the NDA Examination conducted by UPSC ??

NDA Examination is a well known entrance examination organized by Union public service commission for the recruitment in the Indian army , air force and navy ..

Here I am giving you eligibility criteria for the NDA Examination conducted by UPSC..

Eligibility Criteria-
Age between
16 ½ to 19 yrs as of year of applying

Qualification-
You have to passed 12th Class of 10+2 System with Physics, chemistry and Maths for AF/Navy from any well recognized board of education ..

Marital Status- Un Married
Physical requirements :
The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force)

Uncorrected without glass :- 6/9
Corrected with glass :- 6/6
Limits of Myopia : - 0.75
Limits of Hypermetropia :- +1.5

The NDA is stands for the National Defence Academy. The NDA (National Defence Academy) & ND (National Defence) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Eligibility:

Nationality :

A candidate must either be :
1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Bhutan, or
3. a subject of Nepal

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status

A candidate must be an unmarried male and have born not earlier than 2nd July 1996 and not later than 1st July 1999.

Educational Qualifications

The applicant must have passed 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

1). HEIGHT REQUIRED :- 157cm.

2). CHEST :- 5cm when expand.

3). EYE SIGHT:- eye sight must be good that is 6/6.

4). WEIGHT :- the weight ratio is different with different height. but minimum weight requirement is 50kg.
