The United India Insurance company administrative officers recruitment selection procedure will be based on three stages:

Online Written test
Descriptive Test
Final selection

Phase I:
The Online written test will be an objective type and its have 4 type.

• Reasoning (Logical reasoning & problem on figures) – 50 Marks

• Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Marks
• English – 50 Marks

• General Knowledge, Financial Awareness & Computer Knowledge - 50 Marks

There will be a negative mark (0.25/wrong answer) for choosing wrong answer by the candidate.

Phase II:
The Candidate who cleared the online test will be allowed for Descriptive Test. Question paper will be from English, precis writing and Letter writing.

The candidate have to qualify in descriptive test, but the marks not count for final selection.

Phase III:
The Candidates who qualified online will be called for final selection.
The Selection will be the basis of performance in the test and descriptive test.

An additional test to assess technical & professional knowledge in relevant discipline – 40 Marks

Exam Syllabus for UII Exam

The question paper would consist of 4 sections that are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, General Knowledge, and financial Awareness & Computer Knowledge.

Reasoning

verbal and non verbal reasoning, coding decoding, problems based on figures, numbers and alphabets etc.

Quantitative Aptitude

Simplification, Profit & loss, Percentages , Distance ,speed & time , Height and distance, boats and streams, simple and compound Interest etc.

English

Grammatical English including prepositions, synonyms and antonyms, articles and their usage, reading comprehension, rearrangement of sentences and correction of errors etc.

General Knowledge, Financial Awareness & Computer Knowledge

General awareness regarding polity, economics, a bit of history geography, current affairs , financial awareness like budgets declared specially the latest, modifications made if any in them, and last computer Knowledge regarding hardware and software but only the basic level .
