State Bank of India (SBI) conducts exams for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer (PO) at its branches. English language - 50 marks General awareness, Marketing and computers - 50 marks Data analysis and interpretation - 50 marks Reasoning - 50 marks The Descriptive test will be held for 50 marks with one hour to test the English language. Phase-II: The group discussion will be held for 20 marks After the interview will be held for 30 marks Phase-III: The final selection will be based on the marks scored in the written test, group discussion and interview. Re: Percentage required in graduation for SBI Bank PO Exam sir i have passed my graduation on 2014 by 43% only on b.com (general)from calcutta univercity i.e, pass division and i am very much worried about it, please let me know weather i am eligible for govt jobs or not

There is no fixed percentage required in Graduation to apply for recruitment for the Post of Probationary Officer (PO) in State Bank of India (SBI). The eligibility requirement to apply for the post is as follows: Nationality: One should be a Citizen of India. Age: Ones age should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit to Reserved category candidates: Upper age is relaxable by (i) 3 years in the case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. (ii) 5 years in the case of: (a) SC/ ST candidates. (b) Ex-servicemen (including Emergency Commissioned Officers/ Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have rendered minimum 5 years continuous Military Service and are released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or/ on account of physical disability or are released/ discharged on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service or on invalidment (c) One who had ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir between 1st January, 1980 and 31st December, 1989. Educational Qualification: One should possess Graduation in any discipline from recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. SBI PO Exam Pattern SBI PO Exam Pattern is of Three Phases 1. Phase I, 2. Phase II, 3. Phase III. A. Phase I: Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections: 1. English Language 2. Quantitative Aptitude 3. Reasoning Ability B. Phase- II: Main Examination (250 marks) consisting of Objective Tests and Descriptive Test. (i). Objective Tests (200 marks): The objective test of 3 hours duration consist of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section: 1. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude 2. Data Analysis & Interpretation 3. General/Economy/Banking Awareness 4. English Language (ii). Descriptive Test (50 marks): The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)
