GATE without taking Coaching

Can I get good rank in GATE exam without taking any Coaching, please provide this in detail?

Don’t worry if you cannot take a good coaching.

You need to spend few more extra efforts and a little more hard work than others.

If you have enough of time and money to spend with, then you may go for coaching.

If you are short of time but have enough of money, then you may go for crash course and/or test series and/or material of some good institute which may help you out later.

If you have less of money but more of time then you may go for self preparation.
