Military Quota in AIEEE

Is there Military Quota available to apply in the AIEEE???????

Firstly I want to inform you that AIEEE is now replaced by IIT JEE exam

According to the norms set by the Govt. of India, IIT JEE Reservation of Seats will cover the candidates from the following categories:

OBC if they have Non-Creamy Layer certificate.
ST (Scheduled Tribes)
SC (Schedule Castes)
PD (Persons with Physical Disability)

Category % of Reservation
OBC (NCL- Non Creamy Layer, whose family annual income is less than Rs.6 lakh) 27%
SC 15%
ST 7.50%
PwD 3%


IIT JEE Reservation of Seats will also have 02 seats in each institute reserved for the children of Paramilitary/Defence personnel killed or disabled permanently in action in war or peacetime.

As per as my knowledge there is no Military Quota in AIEEE, the AIEEE is replaced by the IIT JEE since April 2013. As per the rules of Central Board of Secondary education which conducts the AIEEE, there is no such provision of reservation for wards of ex-servicemen although it is present in IIT-JEE.


All India Engineering Entrance Examination is the biggest exam in India and to ensure that all kinds of students get admissions in the various institutes irrespective of their social background reservations are introduced.
