I want to take CET for getting admission in DNB Superspeciality so please give me the process eligibility required for this exam. So I can prepared my exam and decide wether I am eligible for it or not.

As you are asking about the detail related with the dates and eligibility criteria for DNB Superspeciality Entrance test here I would like to provide you the same please fell free to have a look on that

1. Last Date of submission of application form for:

i) DNB FINAL THEORY EXAMINATION (Super Specialties)
30th September 2014

2. Date of Examination (Super Specialty)
Saturday the 13th December 2014

As you can see all date which mention here are over so you can try for it next year..

Paper- I 09.30 AM - 12.30 PM

Paper- II 02.00 PM - 05.00 PM

Sunday the 14th December 2014

Paper- III 09.30 AM - 12.30 PM

Theory Exam: paper pattern

I. Maximum Marks : 300.

II. The theory exam comprises of three question papers.

III. There are 10 short notes of 10 marks each in the question paper.
The number of short notes and their respective marks weight age may
Vary in some subjects/some papers.

IV. Maximum time permitted is 3 hours for each question paper.

V. Candidate must score at least 50% of maximum marks to qualify the theory
Exam i.e. candidate scoring 150 or more marks out of 300 shall be declared
‘Pass’ in theory examination.

VI. Candidates who have qualified the theory examination are permitted to

Candidates who have undergone training as a DNB trainee at any National
Board of Examinations accredited institute /medical college /hospital after
Having registered with the Board as a DNB trainee and are completing their

The National Board of Examinations was established in 1975 with the prime objective of improving the quality of the Medical Education by elevating the level and establishing standards of post graduate examinations in modern medicine on an all India basis.

The DNB CET SS (Superspeciality) Examination is organized through the National Board of Examination (NBE) to provide admission to the candidates in various Super Specialty courses.

Important dates:

Online Registration 1st week of Nov 2019
Last date of online registration Last week of Nov 2019
Admit Card 2nd week of Dec 2019
Date of Examination 3rd week of Dec 2019
Cut off date for completing DNB/MD/MS Qualification Last week of Dec 2019
Declaration of Result 3rd week of Jan 2020
Date of Centralized Merit Based Counselling Last week of 2020
Date of 2nd Round Centralized Merit Based Counselling 3rd week of May 2020

List of Required Documents

Candidates have to bring the following documents in original

Rank Letter from NBE
In the event of two or more candidates obtaining the same marks, the relevant documents to resolve the tie shall be produced by the candidate at the time of counselling.
MBBS Degree certificate.
DNB, MD/MS Degree certificate/Provisional Pass Certificate*
Permanent Registration certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council for registration of MBBS qualification.
Matriculation/High School/Higher Secondary Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth.
Proof of declaration of result of qualifying Post Graduate Medical st Qualification (MD/MS/DNB).
Proof of training completion of qualifying Post Graduate Medica st Qualification (MD/MS/DNB).
Matriculation/High School/Higher Secondary Certificate as a proof of Date of Birth.
Any document (Bonafide certificate/Mark sheet/Attempt Certificate etc issued by concerned institution/medical college) confirming the name of the institution/medical college from where the MD/MS qualification was pursued.
Any other relevant certificate or document.
