Pre Pharmacy Course in KU School of Pharmacy is a two year, 60 plus semester hour curriculum required by schools of pharmacy for admission to their professional programs. For Pre Pharmacy Course an additional four years of study at a school of pharmacy is required to become a registered pharmacist.

Here I am giving you complete syllabus of Pre Pharmacy Course

1st year Fall

EG 101 English Composition I 3 hrs.
CH 123 Chemistry I 3 hrs.
CH 124 Chemistry I Lab 2 hrs.
GB 140 Prin. of Biology (see note 4 below) 3 hrs.
GB 141 Prin. of Biology lab 1 hr.
2 general electives 6 hrs.
Total 18 hrs.

1st year Spring

EG 102 English Composition II 3 hrs.
CH 126 Chemistry II 3 hrs.
CH 127 Chemistry II Lab 2 hrs.
ZO 362 Human Anatomy & Physiology 3 hr.
ZO 363 Human A & P lab 2 hrs.
general elective 3 hrs.
Total 16 hrs.

2nd year Fall

CH 572 Organic Chemistry I 3 hrs.
CH 573 Organic Chemistry I Lab 2 hrs.
MA 165 or 161 Basic Calculus or Calculus I 5 hrs.
SP 100 Interpersonal Communications 3 hrs.

2nd year Spring

University of Kansas School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) prgramme details are as given below:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree requires six years of academic study.

The 2 year pre-pharmacy portion may be taken at any accredited two or four-year college
