BITSAT is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani. Following are the details of this test:

Eligibility:
The applicant should passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

Important dates:
Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2014 :15th February 2014
Test center allotment and announcement to candidates :25th February 2014
Candidates to reserve Test dates :1st Mar. – 20th March 2014
Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions : 15th April – 30th April 2014 BITSAT Online tests : 14th May – 1st June 2014
Candidates to apply for admission with 12th marks and Preferences to Degree programmes :20th May – 30th June 2014
Admit List and Wait List announcement : 1st July 2014

Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is a university level exam organized by the BITS, Pilani. It is a computer based exam conducted for providing admission in various degree courses offered by Pilani campus, K.K. Birla Goa campus and Hyderabad campus of BITS.


BITSAT 2019 Exam Dates

Application form release 5th January 2019

Last date to submit the application 31st March 2019

Application editing window 22nd March 1st April 2019

Allotment of exam centre 3rd April 2019

Slot booking by candidates 5th April to 8th April 2019

Release of hall ticket 12th April to 13th May 2019

Exam date 16th 30th May 2019

Apply for admission (basis of 12th marks) 18th May to 18th June 2019

Admit list and wait list release 20th June 2019


BITSAT Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Exam:
One should have passed 12th exams of 10+2 system in the year 2018 from any recognized board.

Subjects:
One must have PCM subjects (PCB subjects for B.Pharma) with adequate proficiency in English. However students with PCM subjects can also apply for pharmacy.

Minimum Marks:
In the qualifying exam one has obtained 75% in PCM/PCB and also has scored minimum 60% marks in each subject.

Appearing Candidates:
One appearing in the 12th exams in the year 2019 are eligible to apply.

If one has taken more than one attempt in the 12th class then the latest performance will be considered.

One who is presently studying in BITS and any of its campuses they are not eligible to apply.


BITSAT Exam Pattern 2019

Exam Duration:
The duration of exam will be 3 hours.

Mode of Exam:
The exam will be conducted through computer based online mode (CBT).

Type of Questions:
There will be objective type (multiple choice questions) asked in the exam.

Sections:
The exam will comprise of four sections, i.e. physics, chemistry, English proficiency & logical reasoning and Mathematics or Biology.

Marking Scheme:
Three marks will be provided for each correct answer.

Negative Marking:
One mark will be deducted for wrong answer. No marks will be given for un-attempted questions.
