The Honors Program admissions procedure for students takes place after a student has been admitted to the University of Florida. The University of Florida admission declared their result on the second Friday in February. Applicants who are interested in applying for the Honors Program may begin applying the following Monday. There are two ways for incoming first-year students for UF Honors Program: Invitation: Students who are eligible for the programs are invited to apply to the Honors Program. Petition Students who do not meet the criteria for invitation may apply via UF petition process which consists of an additional essay. Students those petition essays are scored good will consider for the Honors Program. Admissions Criteria: The eligible candidates apply by November 1. GPA: To get into the UF Honors Program, applicants need to have at least GPA of 4.0. Test Scores: The ACT and SAT scores are required for admission in University of Florida. The Composite SAT score is 2070 on the math, critical reading and writing sections. And the Composite American College Test (ACT) is 33. Application tips: The essays are important.
