Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki was established in the year 1996. It is located at Abakaliki, Ebonyi, Nigeria . Admission Requirements (a) Applicants to first-degree courses must obtain and complete the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board forms and take the examination. (b) For admission to all courses, Applicants must satisfy the admission requirements of the University. For some courses; additional School/Departmental requirements have to be satisfied. (c) At the time of registration in this University, each Applicant required to present the originals of the certificates or any other acceptable evidence of the qualifications (d) Applicants on admission pay to the University, all the fees prescribed by regulations. Entry Requirements: i. Admission to all courses is mainly through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination /Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (i) minimum UTME (JAMB) result/score of 180 and (ii) either EBSU post UTME minimum score of 100 marks or PDS with a minimum score of 180. ii. Applicants must posses 5 ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than two sittings preferably including English Language and mathematics. iii. Admission/Registration of Applicants into undergraduate programmes of Faculty of Law and Basic Medicine/Anatomy shall continue to be based on possession of all relevant O/L entry requirements at One sitting.
