IB School of Bartow was established in 1887. IB School of Bartow offers classes from 9–12 grades. IB School of Bartow is the only high school located in Bartow, Florida.

Eligibility Criteria for admission in IB School

IB School gives admission to those who are self-motivated students who manage their time well and have support at home; parent(s) / guardian(s) who believe that a good education is one of the most important gifts they can give their child.

Only Polk County eighth graders who have maintained a 3.5 or better Grade Point Average in middle school are eligible for taking admission in IB School of Bartow.

Entry into the IB School is only available to qualified eighth graders for their upcoming ninth grade year as Polk has a four-year Pre-IB and IB program.
