The Columbus College of Art and Design was established in the year 1879, it is one of the oldest and largest private art and design colleges in the United States. It offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.

Fall 2013 & Spring 2014 Tuition & Fees
Application fee:
$30 undergraduate
$40 undergraduate (for fall 2014 and beyond)
$60 graduate

Scheduling fee:
$100 undergraduate
$200 graduate

Tuition (BFA & MFA):
$28,872 per year;
$14,436 per semester (12–18 credit hours)

Additional Credit hours:
$1,203 per credit hour for each additional hour over 18

Summer Tuition:
$620 per credit hour

Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is a private college of art and design located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was established in 1879. CCAD is one of the oldest private art and design colleges in the United States.

Tuition & Fees

Application fee:


$40 undergraduate (for fall 2014 and beyond)
$60 graduate (application fees are nonrefundable)

Scheduling fee:
$300 undergraduate
$300 graduate

Scheduling fee deadlines:

First-year students: May 1 (for fall) and Dec.15 (for spring)
Transfer students: June 1 (for fall) and Dec. 15 (for spring)
Graduate students: April 15

Tuition (BFA & MFA):
$30,840 per year; $15,420 per semester (12-18 credit hours) (2015-2016)

Additional Credit hours:
$1,285 per credit hour for each additional hour over 18

Summer Tuition: $650 per credit hour

Shared double room (plus required meal plan): $8,390 per year; $4,195 per semester

Four bedroom (plus required meal plan): $10,310 per year; $5,155 per semester

Two bedroom: $7,670 per year; $3,835 per semester
Four bedroom: $7,110 per year; $3,555 per semester

Meal Plans-

Gold plan: $3,200 per year; $1,600 per semester (250 meals and $100 flex). Required for all incoming students.
Silver plan: $2,400 per year; $1,200 per semester (175 meals and $125 flex)
Bronze Plan: $1,920 per year; $960 per semester (125 meals and $150 flex)

Summer:

Four bedroom: $1,580

Housing deposit: $250 (deadline is May 1 (for fall) and Jan. 2 (for spring)
Registration Fee: $120 per year; $60 per semester (nonrefundable)
General fee: $320 per year; $160 per semester (nonrefundable)

Health & accident insurance:

$1,690 per year; $845.00 per semester (for domestic and international students)
$1032 for new enrollees for Spring 2016

Lab fees: Generally $600 per year; $300 per semester (will vary with schedule)

Area off-campus apartments:

Upper-division students will find that apartment rates range from $350 to $850 per month
Food and other costs average $250 to $550 per month

All students receive a 10 percent discount on most items in the CCAD Supply Store.

Fall semester 2015 bills or payment arrangements must be made by Aug. 7, 2015.

Spring semester 2016 bills or payment arrangements must be made by Jan. 8, 2016.
