Accountant

Qualifications / Experience:
Our ideal candidate will possess a Professional Accounting Designation (CPA/CGA/CMA/CA) with a minimum five (5) years’ experience.

This individual should have:

The ability to manage staff
Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong PC skills
A high level of integrity and a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability

Controller

Education and Experience
12-15 Years previous work experience with 2-5 years in a Controller and/or Accounting Manager position required

Chartered Professional Accountant certification (i.e. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA) with a university degree, preferably in Accounting and/or Finance

Demonstrated corporate and functional leadership and organizational competencies

Working knowledge of standard costing systems relevant to a manufacturing operation

Demonstrated proficiency with advanced accounting principles & guidelines, maintaining a strong internal control environment & operational financial performance reporting

Demonstrated proficiency in dealing with corporate auditors, government officials, banks, insurance brokers, etc

Experience with ERP, SAP Business One experience is preferred

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Demonstrated proficiency with project planning and
Implementation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications

MANAGER FINANCIAL SERVICES
Qualifications:
Education:
Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or Masters degree, majoring in Finance.

Experience:
Five years of progressively responsible experience in areas of similar complexity and scope. Previous supervisory experience is an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced computer skills including an in depth knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database applications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as a team member and mentor

Demonstrated ability to direct and facilitate change.

Financial Controller

Education and Experience
Post-Secondary education including an Accounting certificate or diploma along with a Professional Designation

5-7yrs. experience in a Controller position or similar role

Supervisory experience within an accounting department

Experience working in a multi company arena is an asset
