BPS School Start Date

Is there anyone who could tell me when does Boston Public Schools will start their session for the year 2013-2014??

Hello! Here I am giving few dates that I have taken from the attachment of the calendar of Boston Public Schools. You can get information about the staring date and about other important dates and days from it.

School year 2013-2014 Calendar:

August 20–22 New Teacher Institute: First-year teachers report
September 2. Labor Day: No school
September 3. All teachers and paras report
September 4. Students in grades 1-12 report, including grade 1 in ELCs and EECs: Full day of school
September 9. All kindergarten students report (including EECs, ELCs, and special ed.)
October 14. Columbus Day (observed): No school
November 11. Veterans’ Day: No school
November 27. Early release for students and staff
