For the veterinary courses at University of Bristol, the admission process begins in August 2013. You can take the dates for the year as tentative for next session. Vet Courses: BVSc Veterinary Science UCAS Code: D100, five years full-time BSc Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science UCAS Code: DC37, four years full-time BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare Science UCAS Code: D390, three years full-time Cert Companion Animal Welfare and Behavioural Rehabilition Two years part-time Important dates: You can apply for the course from mid-September You can get The Common Application from 1st of August. The closing date is 15 January. If you are applying as an outsider from UK/EU, you can apply up to 30 June If you submit application form after the closing date, your application won’t be reviewe by the admissions committee. Undergraduate Courses offered : Vet Courses Veterinary Science Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science Animal Behaviour and Welfare Science Cert Companion Animal Welfare and Behavioural Rehabilitation Veterinary Science: This program moves a candidate to make professional career as a veterinary surgeon. Entry requirements: For Graduates For science graduate : Require a 2.1 degree and A levels at BBB to include chemistry. For non Science graduate : Requires A levels in chemistry, biology and a suitable third subject at a minimum of BBB. For Non-graduates If candidate achieved A levels within the last ten years, must satisfy all current entry requirements. If candidate do not have science A levels (or their equivalent) then will need to take suitable level 3 science qualifications. If candidate are a non-graduate and achieved A levels more than ten years ago, you are permitted to retake science A2 levels in order to meet the current requirements for the Veterinary Science program; Candidate must achieve AAA in chemistry, biology and a suitable third subject in the first sitting of the A2 exam.
