The Richmond Society for Community Living Supported Child Development Program eligibility are below:

Supported Child Development Program

Eligibility
The Children must meet the following three criteria:

Age birth to 19th birthday
Have a developmental delay or disability in physical, cognitive, communicative or social/emotional/behavioural areas:

Physical –
The child, who is blind or visually impaired, has a neuro-motor or sensorimotor challenge or a special health care need.

Cognitive –
The child who has an intellectual delay or disability

Communicative –
The child who is deaf or hard of hearing, or has significant language and speech challenges

The Richmond Supported Child Development
Program (RSCDP) is a community based program designed to support families and children with extra support needs to access inclusive child care that meets family needs.

RSCDP eligibility-

Children from birth to their 19th birthday

A child with a developmental delay or
disability (Cognitive, Communication,
Social/Emotional/ Behavioural or Physical)

A child that requires consultation and support to participant in a childcare setting

The RSCDP operates with funding from the
Ministry for Child and Family Development (MCFD.)

There is no cost for the RSCDP services as their program is voluntary.

Families are able to apply for Childcare
Subsidy through MCFD to cover the space fee
costs.
