Open University Malaysia or OUM is owned by the Multimedia Technology Enhancement Operations (METEOR). It was initially opened its doors in 2001.

Admission Requirements for Master Degree Programme
- You must hold Bachelor Degree from any higher learning institution recognised by the University Senate with minimum two (2) years’ working experience in the relevant field; or
- You must hold Bachelor Degree with Honours from Open University Malaysia or any other higher learning institution recognised by the University Senate; or
-Any other equivalent qualification approved by the University Senate.
-Provisional admission for a Master degree programme provided on the basis of his/her current CGPA meets the programme requirements.
-Flexible entry admission does not have minimum entry requirements for the Master degree programme provided he/she is at least 35 years’ old and possess a Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia or any other equivalent qualification with relevant working experience.

Language Requirements
-International applicants from countries where English is not a medium of instruction must have obtained a minimum score for TOEFL, IELTS or other equivalent test
-A Malaysian applicant must be sufficiently competent in English.
