Oklahoma Certified Healthy Schools

What are the various levels of certification required to become a Oklahoma Certified Healthy Schools??

The Oklahoma Turning Point Council formed in 1997 to help transform public health in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Certified Healthy Campus status recognizes post-secondary public and private institutions of higher learning and career technology centers. In 2010, the "Oklahoma Certified Healthy Schools Act" was passed as a voluntary certification recognizing schools

There are three levels of certification to become a Certified Healthy School; Basic, Merit and Excellence.
-Excellence certification requires at least 4 criteria in each of the 8 components of coordinated school health
-Merit certification requires at least 3 criteria in each of the 8 components of coordinated school health
-Basic certification requires at least 2 criteria in each of the 8 components of coordinated school health
