GHSS Balaramapuram is the only government higher secondary school in Balaramapuram panchayath which is a small town in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. Balaramapuram high school was set up as primary school in1883, it was upgraded as upper primary school in 1890 and High school and higher secondary classes began in 1976 and 1998 respectively.
