Institute of Rural Management Anand celebrated its 30th Foundation Anniversary in December 2009. As part of its 30th Year Celebration, IRMA launched the “Rural Management Case Writing Year” and invite to share professional experiences and reflections through a case study and contribute to enrich the knowledge base at IRMA. For your complete details here is the attachment of it Guidelines for Authors 1. The case study should pertain to rural context and address an issue of practical relevance. 2. The write-up should not exceed more than 5000 words (roughly 10 pages of single-spaced Times New Roman 12 font), excluding the annexures (if any). 3. An abstract of one page may be sent as an advance intimation to help us organize editing and feedback mechanisms. The abstract should be sent by 31st July. 4. Please use font of Times New Roman with size 12 and single line spacing on A4 page format in MS Word 97-2003. 5. In the case of cases based on organizations, please ensure that the organization has been informed of the same and attach a permission letter of the same. If the case study is selected, a formal clearance will be necessary from the organization. 6. In order to submit, mail your case through e-mail: irmacasewriting@gmail.com 7. Once the dead line is over the selection committee would go through all the cases and depending on the innovations and usefulness to academic context of IRMA would select the cases to be published. The submitted abstracts and case studies would be screened by a selection panel and the writers of the select case studies would be informed with evaluation and feedback. Subsequent to the selection, these case studies would be converted into cases and would be published. 8. The selection done by the committee is final and binding on all participants. 9.
