GHG Khalsa College of Education was established back in the year of 1948 and since then it had never looked back and the teacher training (B.T.) was started in 1955 as a department of the Arts College with 100 seats. In 1957, the B.T. Department was transformed into an independent and full-fledged institute i.e. G.H.G. KHALSA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION.
