DPS Public School Patna was established back in the year of 1998 and it was the first initiative of Takshila Educational Society and it is a collaborative effort with the Delhi Public Schools Society, which is one of the largest chains of CBSE schools in India. DPS Patna is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and offers schooling from Nursery to Class XII.

Age Criteria for getting admission:
Nursery
Between 3½ to 4½ Years
Born between 1st October, 2009 and 30th September, 2010

Preparatory
Between 4½ to 5½ Years
Born between 1st October, 2008 and 30th September, 2009

Class I
Between 5½ to 6½ Years
Born between 1st October, 2007 and 30th September, 2008

Class II
between 6½ to 7½ Years
born between 1st October, 2006 and 30th September, 2007

School Timings:
Nursery and Preparatory: 9:00 A.M - 2:00 P.M.
Class I to Class V: 10:00 A.M - 3:00 P.M.
Class VI to Class XII: 7:00 A.M - 1:00 P.M.
