Qualifications
To qualify for the Duval County Public Schools Alternative Certification Program you must Be a paid instructional employee of the Duval County Public Schools in a teaching ..

For the alternative certification program you must Hold a temporary teaching certificate from the Florida Department of Education.

You have to Sign the ACP application and contract as an agreement of participation.

Timeframe
The in-service model includes 18 Saturday sessions over a ten month period. The portfolio takes approximately six months to one year to complete.
