 NCBS PhD Program
HellSir I want ttake admission in the National Centre for Biological Sciences PhD Program in Biology splease can you give me the admission dates and procedure of the course and provide me the paper and syllabus of the entrance exam if the institute organize?

The NCBS, TIFR provides admission in PhD program through entrance exam. The candidates whhave passed CSIR/ICMR/Gate exam are alsneed ttake the entrance test conducted by NCBS. Syllabus: The test does not have specified syllabus. It is normally based on analytical skills and +2 level mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. The institute issues notification for PhD entrance exam in the month of August/ September very year and the examination is normally conducted in the month of December every year sthe exam for 2012 has already been conducted. We are uploading the old question paper of NCBS PhD entrance exam Biology. You can get the paper from here after registering yourself.

As you want to get information about Ph.D Program at National Centre for Biological Sciences, so here I am providing the following information: Eligibility Criteria Students must have a Master Degree in any basic science discipline, including biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Admission will be through Entrance Exam. The Entrance written test will be conducted in December every year. Syllabus There is no specified syllabus for the entrance exam.
