It is best described as a set of individual tools; it can be enacted in any of the following ways: To create a complete integrated course on the Web To facilitate a group project using the Bulletin Board and links to material For online class discussion and tutorials For assessment or self-test exercises using the Quiz tool As a means of presenting multimedia materials, for example, music, poetry, video As a gateway to a selection of external urls for research purposes To facilitate online student presentations, whereby students create their own Web pages To provide supplementary information or facilities (eg online course guide) To place lecture notes online All new and returning students who want to access the site of Aberdeen University, should login to MyAberdeen to access their course materials and resources. There is exception for the students offering Medicine and Dentistry program, and a small number of School of Education Distance Learning students who are in their final year of their programme.
