Quaid E Azam University Islamabad was established back in the year of 1967 under the Act of National Assembly and started teaching and research programmes for PhD and MPhil degrees. It was, however, gradually and later decided to offer Master’s, graduate, and now undergraduate programmes. The University, for its international repute, faculty and programmes attracts a large number of foreign students

The Share of Sindh will be further sub-allocated in the following ratio:
• Urban areas namely Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur: 40% of 19% or 7.6%
• Rural areas i.e. rest of Sindh: 60% of 19% or 11.4% 19%
Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa 11.5%
Baluchistan 6%
Gilgit Baltistan / Federally Administered Tribal Areas 4%
Azad Kashmir 2%

Reserved Seats:
Children of military personnels Bachelor’s/ Master’s 01 seat each in department of the University is reserved for admission of the children of Army Personnel and would be offered ONLY on the nomination of GHQ.
Children of military shaheed/ disabled MPhil 01 seat each in the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics and History is offered on the nomination of GHQ.
Minorities Bachelor’s/ Master’s 01 seat each in department of the University is reserved for Minorities subject to production of certificate from the Institution last attended that the candidate belongs to the Minority Community.
Disabled Bachelor’s/ Master’s Programme 01 seat each in departments of the University is reserved for admission of disabled persons subject to the provision of his/her disability certificate duly issued by the District Assessment Board along with other conditions approved by the University Statutory Bodies.
Sports BS/BBA 02% of the admitted students in the Department/School.
