Admissions are conducted on merit basis.
The college has reservation policy given by the Government of Tamil Nadu
(OC quota = 31%, BC quota=30%, MBC / DNC quota=20%, SC/ST=(18+1)%)
Students who excel in sports or the students from the family of Ex - servicemen, or from the differently abled category are given special reservation at the time of admission.
Counselling and admission was done for three days:
one for Arts, one for Science and one for commerce courses.
