There are schools in North Carolina but as per my knowledge, Central Carolina Community College is the best one among all of them. Here I am providing the information about the program offered at the college. Go through it!

EKG Technician program teaches the proper use of Electrocardiograms as a supportive diagnostic procedure. The course consists of theory and classroom-based clinical hours.

ECG/EKG Technician Training Program:


Program Length
Classroom 32 hrs
Lab 16 hrs
Classroom Based Clinical 12 hrs
TOTAL 60 hours


Admissions

Admission Requirements
18 years old or older
US issued High School diploma or GED
Photo ID and Social Security Card
Successful completion of Healthcare Readiness Course
Suggestions:
CPR certification
Cardiac Monitoring Technician
Phlebotomy Technician
Computer Class
Spanish Classes

Program Completion Requirement

Student must maintain a course average of 75 or above
Attend at least 85% of the 60 hour
Satisfactory completion of 12-lead EKG/ECG competency
