The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is the regulatory body for solicitors which is responsible for regulating the professional conduct of more than 125,000 solicitors and other authorized individuals. It was formed in January 2007 by the Legal Services Act as the independent regulatory arm of the Law Society. Admission ceremony dates The admissions ceremony is a unique opportunity to celebrate your success on qualifying to enter the solicitors' profession which takes place at the Law Society in London. The Law Society (not the SRA) will contact you to invite you to book your place at an admission ceremony which will be on a date after your date of admission and is not mandatory.
